I love this video showing a busy woodpecker feeding its little ones in the woods of the Simbruini Mountains Park, near Rome.

The Simbruini Mountains Regional Park is situated in the province of Rome (the Simbruini Mountains are often called ‘Rome’s Alps’) and is easy to reach by car, bus or train. There are regular CO.TRA.L bus services running from Rome to the small villages withing the park.
